Symptom:

DVM Agent Status is DVMs tab is shown as "Not Responding"


Error displayed in DVM Details Dialog:

Communication failed with the Agent. Client may face connection problem while connecting to this DVM if agent persists in 'Not Responding' state. More info: Unable to connect to Dvm Agent on '172.17.3.87'. Reason: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80070035): The network path was not found. at EDCWCFImpl.EDCWCFServiceImpl.ExecuteAllTasks(DVMAgentRequest request).


Resolution:

Restore the DVMs network settings so that it can access the domain controller. The error will automatically get rectified and DVM Agent status will be shown as responding
